HD-DVD Disc Recomendations

It appears that my favorite format, HD-DVD, is going the way of the Dodo. As it goes, I'm going to be buying as many movies in that format as possible and I want to make smart buying decisions so I'm looking for some good advice on titles. I only want to buy an HD disk if it's going to offer better quality than the DVD version (I know some of those quasi "HD" releases leave something to be desired).
A list of titles that the HD people did a good job on would be great. Also, I trust the opinions of the people that frequent this site more than others when it comes to video quality discussions, but addresses to other review sites that know what they are talking about would be appreciated. (for instance: highdefdigest.com -- do they know what to look for when it comes to video quality?)

highdef digest is not bad - though at times I tend to think they are giving away the high marks for video quality too lightly. E.g. they consider Children of Men to be one of the best titles in 2007 whereas I was rather underwhelmed by it.

I liked Children of Men, but it wasn't really that impressive. Black Snake Moan blew me away, but then again it was the first HD-DVD I ever watched...

Given good sale pricing, any HD DVD of a movie you like, or THINK you'd like, is a good deal.

Blue if you liked BSM you should see also Hustle & Flow. I had trouble following CoM but after a few days of thinking about it(!) decided it might be a Great Movie. Or at least worthy of repeat viewings to catch stuff that I missed 1st time around.
