Site up and running again, on a new domain

Heya all!

Thanks to Leffe I now do have some hosting again. I uploaded a stripped down site (couldn't find a backup of the old webpage and also, that old stuff really is outdated in the meanwhile). Now you can get "my" binaries again at

http://koepi.leffe.dnsalias.com

Also, the domain http://www.koepi.info is available and currently points to the freecodecs.com-mirror of the current xvid binary. Thanks a million, matrics!

If I find some more time I'll of course add more binaries (SMP, dshow standalone decoder,...], but for now I'm happy to have some "official" location again!

Well, I thought about booting into windows, applying the patch, compile a build -- but then sysKin mentioned something about that patch needing a fix. As I don't want to be responsible for people producing "flawed" encodes again I'm waiting a little longer until the patch gets reviewed by a core-developer and maybe some hints about the possibly needed corrections are given.

Oh no, Koepi, patch is fine. The only "fix" I was talking about meant trying a new&awesome method which modulates lambdas and not quantizers. It was never tried before so I'm curious ~

Er, don't believe he did. koepi.info has only the "old" 1.2.-127+VAQ, not a recent build from CVS. And just a few posts above, he confirmed that.

Every little bit helps. Maybe I'm just paranoid. But anyways, the number of differences, as long as they are > 1, does not change the fact that the old 1.2.-127 != recent CVS.

It seems "the big firewall" in china blocks access to www.koepi.info. In those cases http://koepi.leffe.dnsalias.com/ should work.

after I install the latest VAQ build from http://esby.free.fr/CelticDruid/mirror/XviD/, i try to run the encoder configuration but i get a rundll32 error saying it couldn't load the xvidvfw.dll library because 'the application configuration is incorrect'. any idea what's wrong (i don't even know what VAQ is, i just was using the 25-Jul build before this one for ages, and never had any problems...)? :(
