I am encoding some animation. I have selected the the bitrate to be 1500. The output file was to big for what I wanted. I went the other route and selected 250000 for my final file size and it came out 400000(roughly). Is there something I am doing wrong? My source is interlaced 29.970. Of all the stuff I have done this is the only video to give me this issue. I am doing the Voltron DVDs. Thanks for your time. TM

Are you forgetting to allow for the size of the audio stream(s)?
What codec are you using for compression?

I encode my audio separate and I use xvid 2-pass.

This isn't a VirtualDubMoD issue. Search the forums for XviD oversizing. There are plenty of threads on this.

because they like it
Then they will like an up-to-date version of VirtualDub even more, containing a countless number of bugfixes and a completely new Input Plugins API :p
