Merging subtitles with an .mkv.

How is it done. I've got MKVmergeGUI open and I've got an .srt subtitle file, but it continues to give me a message about an MIME not being selected. It won't allow me to add it to the input file, so I've got to add it as an attachment.

hmm, it gave an error message about not selecting a MIME type when you tried to mux an srt into a video file? That's weird, because it should be the other way around - MIME only applies to attachments and that's where you need to specify the MIME type, and not when you mux it as an input stream. What's the type of video you are trying to mux the srt into? And please post screenshots of what exactly you are trying to do and the error message window.
