I have converted and burned several avi's on my computer to DVD. I did about 40 of them, watched a few and realized that it had cut off some video from both sides. The movies on my computer are in widescreen format, but the DVDs play fullscreen, with parts cut off both sides instead of be mushed together. I have checked all the settings in ConvertXtoDVD and it all checks out right. When i play them in the DVD drive of my computer, they play fine, no problem whatsoever. Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this? Or know of a program that will have just as good picture quality, and have the endtire picture shown?

Does ConvertXtoDVD give you settings for Aspect Ratio?
Sounds like it encoded at a 1:1 ration rather than 16:9.

yeah, it does. It encoded and wrote at 16:9, it's just that when i play in in a dvdplayer it cuts off the sides so it looks more like 4:3, so im missing some of the video

@Calcyon

Hi!

Check the "Setup" or "Display" settings available for your standalone DVD player...
