This might be sort of off topic - but after I am finished backing up a DVD using DVDshrink and then burning the files using Nero, I delete the files. I then have to go to the Norton Protected Recycle Bin and then click on "Empty Norton Protected Files" to erase the unwanted files completely off my "C" drive. The last time I did that however the "Empty Norton Protected Files" button was not highlighted even though I had deleted them from Drive C - I checked Drive C Properties and it is still on the hard drive - although the files do not show up in Norton Un-erase Wizard or in the recycle bin. So in other words the files are still on my hard drive but Norton thinks it deleted them.
- I ran into this problem once before a long time ago - and after hours of searching through my hard drive came upon a screen that indicated there were unknown files taking up space on my 'C' drive and gave me the option of pemanently wiping the files from the hard drive.
- Would anyone know what screen or option I'm describing and how to get to it? or how to delete those unwanted files from DVDshrink off my C drive?
Any help is always greatly appreciated
