copying "taxi driver" to my harddisk

hi.

I've bought a DVD of the film Taxi Driver, and when I try to copy it to my HDD with DVD decrypter, I get this error:

it seems to be a reading error and when I try to run Nero's scandisk on it, I also get those "red blocks" meaning the DVD is damaged in that zone.

but it isn't! I've fully watched it with PowerDVD and it played just fine.

what can it be and how can I solve it?

Hi!

Yes, that version is very likely to contain a current iteration of SONY's "ARccOS" copy protection - which DVD Decrypter is not capable of directly processing.

Any one of the following should be able to process it:

1) DVD95CopyPro (commercial)

2) AnyDVD (commercial)

3) RipIt4Me (freeware)

4) DVDFabHDDecrypter (freeware)

btw, where can I find DVDFabHDDecrypter? I used DVDFab but it is a 30day trial version.
