I am trying to burn a dvd. However, DVD Shrink will not shrink it enough. It will only get the main movie down to 5,242 MB. That's not counting the menus or extra's. When I choose a custom compression ratio it will not go below 98.9. It all came off of one DVD. Anyone got any ideas?

You don't state how you ripped the movie. What prohram did you use? You may have to run the files through FixVTS before Shrink.

I used DVDFab HD Decrypter 4

4 what? There have been many versions. Anyway try running the files through FixVTS first.

4.0.2.5 Beta. How do I do what you are talking about?

I had done a few of the new releases with Fab and Shrink was getting the wrong information as far as compression. Once the files were processed through FixVTS, Shrink was able to read the correct information.

I wasn't sure what FixVTS was. I searched for it and downloaded it and ran it throught it. Looks like it worked. I haven't burned it yet but it is showing up in shrink like it should. Thanks for the help.

Just a little note, Shrink the item to Hard drive then shrink from that file on the hard drive to disc. Worked many times.
