mkv on psp

i have some 400-500 mb mkv/aac/h.264 video files that i would like to play on my psp, without video re-encoding, is that possible???

You can try.

Make sure you have FW v3.30 or higher (CFW >= 3.30 is fine) and open the MKV in MKVExtractGUI (it is in the mkvtoolnix package). Checkmark the audio and video streams and choose Extract. If the video stream ends in .h264, rename it to end in .264.

Now open MeGUI and go to Tools > Muxer > MP4 Muxer. For video input, choose the video stream you extracted. Set the frame rate. Also add the audio track for audio input. Then you can Queue, and Start it.

Place the video in ms0:/VIDEO/, where ms0 is your PSP's drive letter. You do not have to name it anything special.
