annoyances with search this thread (or 'get a clue you stupid machine')

This isone of those splinter-type annoyance. Starts out small/minor, but gets more and more frustrating with each encounter.

Anyways, the results from 'search this thread' are each depicted as a thread link with a link to the specific post below that. seems rather stupid, and is counter-intuitive. by 'search this thread' the thread title is irrelevant, as it should be the same for every single result.

Is this the same vbulletin that cancelled hongfire's license a year or two back for "moral issues"? Or have they done some "restructuring" (aka firing the scapegoats) since then?

VBulletin in a Forum script, sold by the company jelsoft
so probably, haven't been on hongfire in years
