Hi folks,

I would like to put four clips in each of the four quadrants of a frame, and then at some specific time, have one of them expand to fill the entire frame.

Is this possible with Avisynth?

Thanks!

Yes it is, you scale each clip to 1/4th the size of the total frame and combine the four using (I think) Overlay.

If you want to get fancy and add tricks on how you expand one clip to the full frame, then it adds another layer of complexity.

Look at Animate filter : http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Animate

One of the given examples looks like what you want to do (a small picture enlarges on a black clip until replace the main clip).

You can try Hollywood squares plugin.
