workarounds to PowerDVD not reading HD-DVD files from hard-disk?

Have been using dumpHD to rip HD-DVD to my hard drive, and using the "open files on hard drive" feature of PowerDVD Ultra to watch them.

Now, recent versions of PowerDVD will not open HD material (reportedly... I haven't "upgraded" yet to the latest version).

What to do now?

Is there some way to mount these files as a virtual drive, similar to using Daeamon Tools?
