Bad video has reddish tinge on right side

Hi Folks,

I shot some video with a digital camera
that was on its last legs (it died a few months
later). One defect was that the video
was occasionally red-tinged (discolored) on the
righthand side.

Is there any way to fix that? The colors
elsewhere were fine.

And yes, there should be a way to fix this.

It sounds like chromatic fringe from your digital camera if it's a red tinge on the right side -- That's exactly what it is. Try looking at the Avisynth wiki filter list to see if there's a defringer.
