Ok so I've tried yamb, mkv2vob, gotsent, redkawa and some others.

All I'm trying to do is watch some mkv files on my PS3 which obviously doesn't support it. So I'm trying to convert this video into some format it will play, so to a .avi, .vob, .wmv, or .mp4.

When I use mkv2vob, in that command prompt it shows the progress reaches a 100% then that h264info thing comes up and it crashes.

So I tried gotsent and yamb, when converting it the mp4box keeps crashing. Gotsent was working fine a few weeks ago, it wouldn't crash but since I got the newer version the mp4box keep crashing.

Redkawa will convert the video to a 0 byte file. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

The video I'm trying to watch is a 1280x720 resolution video. It has english and japanese audio, so I used that mkv extractor and extracted the video and english audio and merged it together.

Take your time mate, it's not a payed-for-instant-answer place. Please read the forum rules again.

As for your question, It seems that either your file is non standard or/and you've encountered a bug in the programs that crash.

My initial suggestion is to 1st try alternative apps for your composition or try to email the authors and inform them of the crash.

Other than that, wait patiently and hope that someone has a more specific reply.

cheers.
