Is it possible to stream over wireless or wired HD videos to PS3.
I have tried many different avenues and have not been able to stream any of my HD movies. I have no problem streaming SD movies.
I am currently running:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Crucial Dual Channel 4096MB PC8500
DDR3 1066MHz
Intel X38,motherboard
Raid 0 with three Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB
I have a Netgear Wireless N gigarouter. (I'm thinking of going to the netgear HD/GAMING 5 GHZ WIRELESS-N NETWORKING KIT) which would allow me to stream wirelessly to an access point at 300mbs.
I dont have any issues encoding my files to a different format however it seems like it is hit or miss if the converted files work on the ps3. Sometimes the videos have no sound when playing on the PS3 however on the PC it is fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
