I am writing a case study on the differences between Blu ray and HD. The areas that I am investigating are The 1. Recording onto the disc, the 2.differences between HDi and BD java the 3. laser aperature and 4.region codes. I need to obtain information of the differences and how they impact of the signal flow from recording to the consumer watching the BD or HD disc. I was wondering if there is anyone out that that could point me in the right direction as I am finding it difficult getting this detailed technical information.

The best place to go and get these answered would be 2 website:
1. Microsoft's HDi developer's site or Amy Dullard's blog - she's head of HDi Programming for Microsoft
http://blogs.msdn.com/amyd/
Or
2. Hd cookbook site with lots of info and forums on BD-J programming
http://hdcookbook.com/
Also you can pick up the first 3 books in this list:
