There's a MOV file and if play it with QuickTime player it'll show at size of 564x423, (open "Movie Inspector" and it shows "Normal Size" of 320x240 and the "Current Size" 564x423.

However if play it with VLC player, it'll show at the normal size of 320x240.

How to explain this? Is the numbers, 564x423, contained in the MOV file originally already, or is it a setting in Quicktime Player?

Should the video size be the so-called "Normal Size"?

Thanks!

Hi!

1) At what resolution did you create the .MOV video?

2) What is the resolution of the original source material that you used to create the .MOV video?

3) What software and procedures did you use to create the .MOV video?

there is propably some resize flag in the mov container being used that only quicktime understands

therefore dont use mov if you want to play the file on a different player
