I need help copying Parenthood

I ripped the entire contents of the dvd for Parenthood and selected region free (ripped with CladDVD 2.0). When I try to play it back from my hard drive I get the Universal logoed screen that says "This disc is not formated for this Region". To my knowledge Columbia/Tristar is the only company uses RCE protection. With IFOEdit .81 I select "Region Free". This does not seem to work. Any ideas?

Here they are. When I run "Region Free" it appears to work but the result is always the same, the nice lovley message. I attached the file but I don't see a link to it, when I choose edit it asks if I want to keep the current one or upload a new one.

I couldn't find any RCE checking in these IFOs.
Looks very strange.

Can you post the VIDEO_TS.VOB too, if it is not to large?

The file is 70mb or 67mb compressed. I guess I could just ditch original VIDEO_TS.IFO and VIDEO_TS.VOB and create a new VIDEO_TS and VTS_01_0.IFO and burn a movie only version. This is an older Universal Studios release.

Sorry I was ripping several Steve Martin movies and I accidently sent you the info on the wrong one. I am having the problem with Parenthood and I sent you the IFOs for Planes Trains and Automobiles (no wonder you didn't find anything). Here are the IFOs and VIDEO_TS.VOB.

Found the problem. RCE checking is done this time in first Play PGC, and I just noticed, IfoEdit only checks the PGC's in VMGM_PGCI_UT.

Fine, I'll update IfoEdit asap, and send you the new version.
