Hi,

I am having problems with ImgBurn & DVD Decrypter. I created the ISO with DVDFab and am trying to now burn the file to a disc. The error i keep recieving at the very beginning of the burning process is:

DeviceIoControl(FSCTL_LOCK_VOLUME) Failed!

Device [4:0:0] LITE ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S (E:) (ATA)

Unable to lock volume for exclusive access.

Reason: Access is denied.

I've tried buying different dvd's but still nothing. The movie i am trying to burn is; Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix. Any help on how to correct this :thanks:

I believe there's a setting in DVD Decrypter's options to not lock the drive.

Otherwise, other tools like DVD Shrink will work (just make sure to set it to No Compression and Full Backup.

@ktownball00

Hi!

Have you tried simply rebooting (cold start) your system?

Did you try DVD Shrink with No Compression yet?

Trying it now but it seems to be stuck on 2% encoding.

In the settings>Write area there is a box asking whether to reserve track. Make sure it is NOT checked.
