How to Back-up dvd w/dvd burner

How can I back-up my dvds with a dvd burner. I want to make an exact copy. I need to know if you can do it and how. Thanks in advance for all the help. Thanks Jason

Data DVD's can be copied with Burning Software
And original Video DVD's should have copy protection but i think this should be no Problem with Smart Ripper
