Hi,

I want to build an HTPC with a Skystar 2 card to watch and record satellite programs. (I already have a standalone receiver connected to three LNBs oriented on Astra, Hotbird and Atl Bird).

Well, my question is about recording the teletext subtitles. I prefer to watch some films with the teletext subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Is that possible with the Skystar 2?

If yes, what software do you need to record the teletext subtitles?

Thanks in advance

I think most decent software does store the subtitles.

I use DVBviewer, it can display and save both DVB and teletext subtitles.
Then I use projectX when trancoding to extract the subs.

Thank you. I'm going to start learning about that program.

What version do you have please? Or what is the web of the program?

I've seen there's an Altdvb viewer but I don't know if it's the same you mention.

Hello.
MyTheatre has a plugin for recording subtitles. When you watch channels , it displays subtitles and records it in subtitles directory of MyTheatre in *.sub format.
I think you can find it in mytheatre support forum.
