Processing a Star Trek DVD, I just got an "DVD Rebuilder experienced an error rebuilding video header. [17:42:30] 00052 00028" error. What does it actually say, i.e. where is the actual problem?

I used HC021 for encoding with my regular script for 4:3 encodes. It includes cropping to 704x576, is this the problem? I have never had problems with it before, I crop to 704x576 and patch the IFOs after the rebuilding is done.

I'll be back in my office later tonight and will look it up. I think it is a "out of stack space" error -- but I'll have to check. I don't think I've seen that happen before.

Did you find the error, and do you need any additional information?

It's very definitely an "Out of Stack Space" error. That normally only happens when a program gets caught in a call loop. I looked at that subroutine and it is very short and has no reentrant calls... so something else is wrong. Have you been able to repeat it? Do you have any more details?

I'll try running the whole process again and see if it happens again. There's nothing special about the DVD as far as I know, and my workflow is also the very same one I always use.

I'll report the results when I get to the rebuilding phase.

The result seems to be ok. The only difference is that I left out the denoising part but encoded at 704x576. I'm going to re-enable the denoising and see what comes out then. It'll take till tomorrow to find out but I'll get back to you ASAP.

Looks like reripping the source did the trick as now there are no errors :)
