Filter Editor

Hi

I want to try using some filters in dvd-rb, but the filter editor shows as "Not Active" in the options window. Can i use the various filters with rebuilders matrix editor? Thanks for any response.

The filter editor shows as "Not Active" until you add filter commands to it. Then it will show as "Active". And yes, you can use them in the Matrix Editor also. Makes it real nice for previewing filters and matrices on short clips. Kind of like a test drive.

thank you very much SpazzHH.....is it normal if i clip (shorten) the size of the file in the Matrix Editor for the bit rate in the clip to drop?

yes it is known to do that even though it shouldn't. Development has been halted on it for quite a while now, but the bitrates are close enough to what will be used, that you can still tell what things will look like. Not a perfect tool, but still very useful.
