Hi every1
I'm trying to get Rebuilder's Matrix Editor v0.2.0.9 to work with DVD-RB but it gives me a run-time 713 error & required a dll file MSSTDFMT.DLL
I read in a thread to install this dll file in the windows system & system 32 folders. But that was for win 2000. I have xp & installed this dll file in both folders but it didnt help. Also when i double click on the MatrixEdit.exe to run the editor it says "The Matrix folder was not found. Please select the path to it."
Any help would be appreciated thank you:)
P.S. I installed the editor in a folder in the DVD-RB folder in programs, with the name of folder being RebuilderMatrixEditor209.

I don't know if this is the solution to your problem, but generally DLL's aren't useable until they've been "registered" with the operating system. I would put the DLL in the windows\system32 folder as you did, then click Start/Run (or press [WIN]+R). Into the Run dialog box, type:
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\MSSTDFMT.DLL
Of course you must correct the above path if incorrect (windows installed on a different drive, for instance).

I am also having trouble with the matrix editor on vista 32 bit, after I do a prepare phase with hc encoder or cce and run the matrix editor after pointing the directory to the temp folder the program says there are no avs files but I confirmed there were some.
anyone have a solution?
Thanks

In the matrix editor did you set the paths to the correct folders?
•Rebuilder’s Matrix Folder
•Rebuilder’s Instalation folder.
•Set the path to the .exe of your favourite media player (ex. Media Player Classic, WinDVD, Nero Showtime, etc… just choose one.
Note: The selected media player will be used to view the ENCODED segments... not on the "little" preview you'll see on the "Preview/Test"
dialog.
After you edit clip in preview/edit window & save/exit the changes are saved in the work folder. My movie's overall bitrate was over 4,000 kbps so i chose the highest matrix (high_high 4000+)
What i'de like to know is if its normal when the rebuilders matrix editor goes through the hc multiple encoding process.............it takes 40 mins to complete a 280 mb file (original size before being clipped in rb's edit window was over 1gb), seems a bit slow or?
EDIT: just completed the above process involving the 280 mb file it looks terrible ie. blocky. I must be missing something here :(
Shouldt i be viewing a small part of the avs file after being processed by the rme? Instead the whole avs file has been reduced in size (MB's), but lengthwise(time it is the same) ie. 40 mins before & after its processed by the rme.
Thanks.

when running the matrix editor with a CCE sp2 prep I get an error msg "The file 'Rebuilder.ecl' doesnt exist!" but when I prep with hc v22 it works.
any ideas?
