DVDFab HD Decrypter 4.0.5.1 Beta (Jan 13, 2008) worked fine for me. LINK (http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm)
After ripping the whole disc to your HD. You can use whatever you like to encoder.

Likewise, the commercial program DVD95CopyPro v.3.9.123 was able to properly process the R1 version of this DVD - albeit rather slowly, with several error messages throughout, that simply required clicking on "OK" to continue to the eventual successful rip...
BTW - Hold down the "Shift" key while loading the DVD, to prevent the Autorun "Interactual "stuff" (and anything else) from running.

I used Win95pro. I kept getting an error and I hit ok and kept going and it worked just fine. It took longer than usual, but it worked.
