Hello,

I have Rebuilder Pro installed since several years on a now quite old PC (P4 3 GHz).

I accidentally lost some folders, including DVD RB and its key file.

I think I remember we can register the software 3 times. I didn't change of computer. Can you remind me if we can download a key file 3 times, independantly of the computer we're using (so we can register DVD RB on 3 computers maximum)?
Or does downloading the key multiple times from the same PC only count for one single time?

Nothing bad if it counts as one more download, but I'm interested to know in what situation I'm now.

I did a backup of the key file already, to avoid that to happen again.

There's really no limit to the number of times you can get your key (register). There is a limit of 5 concurrent keys (in use at the same time) for you personal use. But you would very likely never hit that limit -- as the count is reset regularly. Even if you did hit that limit, you can get it reset with a quick e-mail to dvd-rb@dvd-rb.com.

The intent is not to limit the use of DVD-RB for registered users. The concurrent limit is just there to prevent someone from publishing their registered address on the internet and having hundreds or thousands of people using it.

Thank you very much for your time and answer, jdobbs!
It deserves a little donation :-)

It makes a long time I'm using your software, even before the RPO version existed. And I remember the more complex time I had to use DoItFast4U, DOCCE4U and ReAuthorist.
