Ripping problems with FLAG Vol. 2 - Anime

Hi all,

I have DVD Decrypter and DVD FAB and on Mac, Mac the Ripper.

Interestingly enough none of my programs can even read the disc. When I just try to play the disc on my two systems using VLC for PC and Mac they could not even play the discs.

When I use Mac's built-in DVD player the disc never mounts so I can't even watch it on my Mac.

I thought I might have a bad press DVD, so I popped it in my home DVD stand alone player and it worked just fine!

So, it appears to me that there is some type of DRM that keeps the DVD from being recognized on any PC.

Any ideas?

Bandai Visual has had a rash of bad pressings recently, and will be initiating a recall program to address the bad discs. More information can be found on the Anime on DVD website here:
