aacenc32.dll to appear? I rather not install all the apps but it's not clear to me what I need to install so that these two files show up in the common folder

With last versions aac.dll and aacenc32.dll don't exist.

If you want encode to aac you can use the free Nero tool NeroAacEnc (http://www.nero.com/eng/nero-aac-codec.html) supported by BeLight, BeHappy, ...

None of these apps seem to work properly for me - not specifically the apps I mentioned. I mean whatever I've tried just to get mkv/ac3 to a mp4. It's mind numbing so far.

Actually, I take that back. How do I get NeroAacEnc to work with BeLight? I have...

BeLight in Besweet's folder
I have NeroAacEnc and neroAacEnc_SSE in Besweet's folder
I have the latest bsn from here...

http://kurtnoise.free.fr/BeLight/

which moved/copied over to Belight's folder. From there, I'm not sure what to do. I still get an error that I need the two dll files. I don't see anything in Belight's config to make it recognize NeroAacEnc

Figured it out - I had 2.1 Belight which is rather old

Yep, use BeLight-0.22_RC1.exe (http://kurtnoise.free.fr/BeLight/BeLight-0.22_RC1.exe) 25-Feb-2007.
