Hi all,
i tried to demux the video stream from the hd-dvd movie "300" which seems to be VC1.
I get the video stream, but it's in wrong length, 1h41 instead of approximativly 2h.
I used vc1conv to change the framerate to 23.976 but still the same result.
Anyone knows what i'm doing wrong ?
Thanks.

What does vc1conv report for number of frames?

Then the duration is 1.001/24 * 167803 seconds.
1.001/24 * 167803 = 6998.783 seconds
6998.783 seconds = 1 hr, 56 minutes, 38.783 seconds.

Then it's a bug in MPC, not EVODemux.

ok thanks , i will see it tomorow , it's late here :p
Something strange: my mpc use the sonic video decoder to read the file; if i block this filter then it can't be read.
File properties shows that is a VC1.

I have the exact same problem with "Shoot 'em up" on blu-ray. Its a vc1 stream that TMPGXpress and MPC read the length of the video wrong. I tried demuxing with xport and tsremux, same problem afterward. I'm also using the Sonic HD decoder pack, perhaps its a bug with their demuliplexer. I'm stuck trying to transcode it now as nothing will decode ALL the frames present in the vc1 elementary stream...

it seems to be a sonic HD demux filter issue. I uninstalled all sonic software and installed Haali Media Splitter and I can now open the vc1 content directly from the m2ts file in TMPGEnc without any noticeable issues. Haali is slow as hell at parsing the vc1 stream, but it seems to be working :)
