Is there any tool to change the Colorimetry flag in DVD without reencoding?

I am not sure if it right place to post my question, so I apologize in advance in case of wrong place.

I've got following problem. Most of my DVDs are now backed up and reencoded to DVD5 (I mean DVD-video, of course). Many of them, however, have a colorimetry that is different from the original (this mainly refers to the case when the original is bt.470, while reencoded video ends up being bt.709). This results in colours being a bit different from original when watching on TV.

So, I was wondering, is there any tool that will allow me to change colorimetry flag on my reencoded videos (from bt.709 back to original bt.470).

I too would like to know of such a tool - something along the lines of DVD patcher, no actual recoding, just changing flags etc.

I have created some DVD files using TMPGENC DVD author, and then deleted the source files. Unfortunately it seems that TMPGENC has changed all the colorimetry info from BT709 to BT470 even though no recoding of the video was done by TMPGENC - ie its just thumped the header info. I should know better than to use TMPGENC. :eek:

It is sad that such tool does not exist. I guess I have to reencode all my affected videos from original DVDs (fortunately, HCenc now can set the colorimetry flag during encoding) and then author (not with TMPGenc, of course :p).
