Is my blu-ray drive too new?

I'm trying to use dumpHD and aacskeys for the first time, and I'm getting the following error:

The drive is an LG GGW-H20L, manufacture date December 2007.

Am I right in thinking that this means my drive is too new, and has been updated not to accept the PowerDVD 7.1 key? Or have i just failed to set something up properly?

If so, is there a more recent key I can use?

Well, your drive has a Host Revokation List stored which revokes the Host Certificate used by aacskeys. It can be that this list was already stored on the drive during manufacturing or it got updated when you played back a disc which contains MKBv3 or greater. There is no new Host Certificate available.

The disc you like to decrypt looks like MKBv3, your only way to decrypt it with aacskeys/DumpHD is to hammer the VID with DumpVID, use aacskeys directly to get the VUK and enter it manually into the key database of DumpHD.

Yup, I got the GGC-H20L and AnyDVD HD works great with it. :)

I got the GCC-H20L today also with a manufacture date in 12/2007 (firmware version 1.0). I was able to get DumpHD/aacskeys to work on an older HDDVD (Enter the Dragon) without any issue.

If someone can point me to a utility to dump the firmware, I'd be happy and try to upload a version.

P.S. I did this w/o installing any software from the DVD which came with the dvd-rom. Looking at the disc
now I see a "LG_FW_Update" directory. The Setup.ini file contains the following:

So perhaps this is revoking the keys? (However, I'm not going to run it to find out. :p)
