Other ATSC apps?

I have an old ATI HDTV Wonder and I was wondering if there are any decent apps out there that will work well with it and will also save the TS data. The ATI app is worthless, as I cannot find anyway to save the TS and it crashes constantly for me. The only other app I know of that can do this is TSReader which works very well in combo with VLC, but I cant watch and cap at the same time with it. Any recommendations?

Sorry for a late reply, but I have the same HDTV card, and I use "J. River Media Center 11".
It records TV programs in MPEG-2 but no closed caption or I'm missing the setting.
I think the current version is 12, but it cost $20 to update from 11, so I haven't updated it.
It probably costs about $40, but you can try 15 or 30 days before purchasing it.

You could use "WatchHDTV", but I think it records in dvr-ms.
