Two titles (TTNs) point to one set of VOBs

On occassion I encounter a DVD that appears to have two titles of exactly the same length but from the size of the DVD I'm quite sure both TTNs are pointing to the same movie material. A recent example is in Meet the Fokkers.

Using PGCedit, is there a way to remove the unwanted TTN, and what is the purpose of using this structure?

I couldn't find anything in the forums on this with search but I may not be using the right keywords to get a hit.

Sometimes, the video content is the same but the navigation, or stream selections, are different.

There's no need to remove the TTN and it saves you no space in doing so. If you want to do it, ensure that it is not played under any circumstance. If it is, redirect playback to TTN 1 using PgcEdit. Then use DVD--> Delete uncalled PGCs.
