If anyone is interested... either in calibrating their HDTV display or the MPEG2/encoding aspect:

there are several sections it would fit in,
but this is as good as any.
what you should do, if you want people to read it and be able to find it,
is post it in a separate thread:
"...free beta calibration disk..."
rather than at the bottom of this query...

Well, I thought about doing that but I wasn't sure how much it really belonged in the doom9 forums at all. I would think that some people here would be interested in calibrating their displays after they do all the hard work/learning to get a good encode... I know I have learned a lot from doom9 over the years and I am obviously interested in an accurate display.
Maybe neuron2 could comment as to how appropriate a separate post would be and where the best place would be for it. I don't want to break any rules, and I don't want to get off topic in one of the forums here.
