Warner drops HD-DRM for DRM-Ray

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Worse, actually, because AACS is mandatory for all BDMV content. Now that it looks like Blu-ray is going to win the format war, if a content owner wants to be responsible and release high definition content with no DRM, they can't.

Oh well, I don't plan to support blu-ray so no worries for me.

A price drop is certainly a 'reaction' all right. Not necessarily one that bodes well for the future though.
