MPEG-1PS refers to so-called mpeg1, MPEG-2PS mpeg2.

MPEG-2TS refers to HDTV?

What do PS and TS stand for?

What're the major differences bwteen those 3 formats above?

TS = Transport Stream
PS = Program Stream

They relate to ways of wrapping the MPEG information in such a way to permit transmission (e.g., via cable, satellite, camcorder, web)

MPEG2-TS doesn't refer to HDTV. It covers more things. For example, some SD camcorders transmit their video using MPEG2-TS.

MPEG2 is an extension of MPEG1 that permits a wider range of frame sizes etc etc.

Apart from the MPEG1, all the formats you list are basically the same as far as video and audio quality are concerned. The differences refer to how the audio and video get from one place to another.
