Not sure where to post this, but the following should probably be fixed to avoid confusion in an already confusion format war.
plus there is no way to turn any BD+ titles into any other formats (the Return of the Silver Surfer Blu-ray rip comes from the German Blu-ray disc which has no BD+ - it may not even have AACS (at least my HD DVD copy from the same distributor has no AACS))
All pressed BD-Rom discs used for BD video must have AACS encryption. Any disc that does not is not up-to spec and will/should not play.
This alone is the major reason I do not believe BD can ever replace DVD. All my film/video work is for limited release titles, and the cost + time delays of forced AACS encryption is a very limiting factor which stops us from releasing content on Blu-Ray.
