Convert HDDVD in uncompressed MKV

hi

can I have istructions for convert an hddvd (video h264) in .mkv and remove/add new audio tracks (like dts)?
(all direct copy ...no compression)

Yeah, I'd be interested in this too. I'd like to backup my HD DVDs to my HArd Drive as MKV files. I don't want to re-encode them though I want to keep the original quality.

I would like to be able to cut certain parts out though like say I wanted to cut the credits at the end or something to save some space.

Yeah but it can extract the video into an mkv as well.

however ..i've this simple situation that,perhaps, i can resolve more easily;

a video track demuxed by evodemux (h264 1920*1080): video.mpv
an audio track converted by eac3to (dts): audio.dts

how I can merge them for make a .mkv?
