...or perhaps just pixelate it - the idea is to censor it :)

I wondering, if there is a filter, that allow one to blur (or pixalate?) choosen part of video ;) I tried to search a lot using google, peeking into the filters list compilations, like this one:
http://www.thedeemon.com/VirtualDubFilters/
...but no luck. Anyone know? All the filters looks like they want process always the whole image... I thought that the cropping options can (or should?!) limit their work on the selected area, but the only one result was that the cropping actually happend and not only the cropped area is affected...

Help?

If the area is static across the frames, any logo filter w/alpha blending would work. But if it isn't, then a good NLE like Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere etc should give you the option to blur+transform. I think even Zwei-Stein or HyperEngine-AV may have it.

Yes, the area is static.

And no, I want just a simple plugin, not "yet another multimegabyte install" application  :p

And yes! I finally find something:

...sadly the version crash as soon, as I use the wanted clipping  Autor notified, but... Dunno if any improve will happen. Back to search then...

OK, try DG's Logo filter (http://neuron2.net/logo/logo.html) then.

Hmmm, and did you tried actually accomplishing what I want with it? I never managed to do so...

It is not exactly that kind of blur I would like to get/see, but... to hide the girl face it will work :p
