I keep getting program errors with both RipIt4Me and DVDFab (newest release).

I put in the disk, start the program, and when the analysis is almost complete, I get a program error and the app shuts down. I was thinking that it might just be something new that RipIt doesn't know what to do with, but the same problem occurs when I use DVDFab. Any ideas guys?

Hi!

"Shoot 'Em Up" is a "New Line" release.

If you do a search here for "New Line", you'll see many posts that clearly indicate that the newer "New Line" releases, starting with "Blade- - House of Chthon" contain the thusfar only type of protection scheme that "RipIt4Me" cannot properly process.

There's a thread on this subject that you've already been involved in (and never provided the filename/filesize information), regarding "Rush Hour 3":

DVD95CopyPro v.39121 (Purchased version) made a perfect DVD-5 backup copy of the R1 version of "Shoot 'Em Up"...

Thanks, Seta. I'll give DVD95Copy a shot.

I haven't been having the same issues, though. The program's simply hang for a moment, then crash, without an application error. The error I keep getting is the Windows program crash report warning.

And on the filesize info: The disk wasn't mine. I was making a backup for my neighbor (good financial arrangement at $5 per backup, and he buys at least 2 new movies each week), so I don't have the disks handy. The errors were, however, different.

@StonedJuggalo

Please read rule 6 carefully. We can not help someone with DVDs they do not own. Copying someone else's DVD is illegal in many parts of the world. Brazenly bragging about it is just not on.
