Hi. Is there anyway to swap channels while using spdif output in ac3filter or another program?

I ask this because my speaker setup is like this

L....C....R

RL........RR

Now while this setup is designed for my home theater, I also like to use my sound system when using my computer monitor (which is located in between the Left and Rear left speaker). I was just wondering if its possible to have the RL speaker act as the "left" spreaker and the Left speaker to act as the "right" speaker while excluding the center and using the right speakers as rears. That way when im facing the left wall on my computer, I still get proper surround.

One answer depends on your sound card - my audigy4 lets me change the speakers around from software.

You just tell it to send front l sound to what's rear left speaker (from the wiring), and etc.

The other answer is when you plug it all into the computer -
If you're using some sort of splitter to enable two audio inputs to the one system setup - just plug your computer plugs into the 'wrong' outpus on the sound card.

You can do what you want with AC3Filter, just set up the matrix you want and use the following options.

MAIN
Output format:
- AS IS
- PCM 16bit (my soundcard requires me to select 24bit, but that's just my soundcard)
- Use SPDIF

MIXER
Enable the matrix (by disabling Auto matrix) and modify it to fit your needs.

Thanks the matrix mixer worked. How come when I listen to a 6 channel .wav file (specfically the "6 Channel test files" located here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/howto/articles/Multichannel.aspx) My reciever only picks it up as LPCM 2 chan and not 5.1 dd. Shouldnt ac3 be transcoding this like it does with DD,DTS + WMA pro?
