I am backing up ergo proxy which according to dgindex is 23.976 progressive except the credits which switch to 29.97 interlaced. After demuxing with dif4u with auto detect select i have these lines in my avs script ..
LoadPlugin("F:\DVD Ripping Apps\DoItFast4U\new.avs\decomb.dll")
Telecide()
Decimate(cycle=5)

When i load the info text into batchccews 2:3 pulldown is selected.

The query i have is after i have done the re-encoded i loaded the new mpeg file into dgindex and hit F5 to preview and frame type done jumps back and forth from progressive to interlaced very very quickly, why is this and have i done something wrong ?

CCE Was used for the encode.

Try checking your vid with the GSpot program to see what it says. I get the 'flicker' between interlaced / progressive with DGIndex at times too. Not sure why it does that.

Cheers,

Its ok i fixed the problem, i used dgpulldown instead of the pulldown that batchccews uses now the new file stays on progressive.
