av sync issue

Hi,
When I try to mux to an mp4 file and render simultaneously audio/video streams from RTSP,
I see that the audio lags the video by about 3 seconds when rendering.
Also when I try to play the muxed mp4 file, the video progressively goes slower and audio stops...

What could the issue be?
How do I solve the AV sync issue?

which tools are you using?

For rendering the stream from RTSP, I am using GraphEdit.
For playing the muxed file, I am using VLC Player and MPC.

Try to mux the rtsp(rtp) stream with VLC to a file.
