Hi,
I have muxed a file from the RTSP streams.
The file plays well in the Media Player Classic.
But when I try playing the file in the VLC player it throws out error messages like
mp4 warning: invalid SampleEntry index (track[Id 0x2])
mp4 error: cannot create es for track[Id 0x2]
mp4 debug: ignoring track[Id 0x2]
mp4 warning: invalid SampleEntry index (track[Id 0x1])
mp4 error: cannot create es for track[Id 0x1]
mp4 debug: ignoring track[Id 0x1]
When I opened the muxed file using AtomicBrowser I see that the trak atom has "ext media" identifier and the stco atom has "file 'self-ref'" identifier.
A properly playing muxed file, when viewed using AtomicBrowser shows the trak atom identifier as "self ref media" and stco identifier as "in this file".
Can someone help me with the VLC messages and the identifiers associated with the trak and stco atoms in the mp4 file?
Thanks,
Taklu.
