Hi,
I'm using Adobe Premiere CS3 and am trying to export HDV capture as H.264 file that I can then play on my PS3 as a video file (not BlueRay disc). I've played with various encoder settings, but the file never plays in PS3, it always says that the data is corrupted. The file plays correctly on my Vista PC. When I use other H.264 encoding tools, e.g. Nero Recode, the files play perfectly on PS3. Also when I export from Premiere as MPEG2 or PSP, it plays on PS3.
The encoding settings I started testing with are:
Codec: MainConcept H.264
Res.:1440x1080
fps: 29.97 Progressive
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Profile: Main 4.2
Bitrate: CBR 5Mbps
I have then changed every setting in about 20 permutations with no luck.
Do any of you have suggestion on how the export from Premiere in H.264 to make it play on PS3? I'm not interested in creating BlueRay disc, just a single mp4 file. I'm also looking only for advice related to Adobe Premiere's H.264, I already have export working from other tools.
Thank you.
