I have some hdtv clips (video: avc, 1920x1088, audio: ac3)
in ts format, capured by a Technotrend budget 3200.
Can I somehow transform the clips to HD-DVD conform structure to in order to burn it on a DL-DVD to play in my Toshiba HD-DVD player?
TSRemux can make a blueray sort of strucure from a ts file.
But I cannot find anything similar for HD-DVD.

You can with recompression to mpeg2 using Ulead Movie Factory 6 plus with HD power pack or to h.264 with Nero Vision 5.2.7 (Nero8).
Broadcast h.264 utilize long GOP, but for HD-DVD you need no more than 0,6 sec and another restrictions.
And keep in mind Toshiba's HD-DVD player do not support 25p, 50p content on HD-DVD! Toshiba only promised to release firmware update to add 50Hz support. Without this update you need transcode european broadcast
50i content to 23,976p with pulldown flag.

Did you tried with Nero Vision 5 Created Mini HD-DVD without and with Menus ? http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=133217
ok the pulldown flag is indeed a problem but maybe it allready adds it for 50i input (or maybe by selecting NTSC instead of PAL as wanted output) automatic needs to be tested but yeah i doubt it so those SAPs that have this Film restrictions won't work @ all with it.

I have a similar issue. I'm try to put video captured from my HG10 (AVC/AC3 2.0) to a mini HD DVD so my brother can watch them. It looks like Nero recodes them to MPEG2 which I am not thrilled with.
I'm a developer with a good understanding of the EVO structure. I know "0" about is the IFO structure used for mini-HD DVD. Does anybody know where this is documented or even the spec name? Even DVD IFO would be a good start.
I would be willing to take a crack at an m2ts/ts to mini-HD DVD authoring tool if I could get a hold of this info.
