Encoding problems with WAR

I used DVD Fab HD Decrypter to decrypt with no problems. It loaded into Shrink and I began the backup process. There was a lot of compression for the entire disc so I used the adaptive error compensation set at "maximum smoothness."
Once it began encoding in DVD Shrink it achieved about 40% and then failed. Error message that "there is not enough memory to perform this action." The destination drive has approx. 190 GB free so that cannot be the problem. The ISO that was created only showed a 256MB size which seemed odd since it completed about 40% of the encoding process. You would think it would be around 2 GB or so.
I then processed with FixVTS and tried again and there was no effect. I'm still trying some other possible fixes, but I'm really at a loss right now.

Any suggestions???

Until it is officially released, one could only speculate what is causing your problem...

I was able to get ahold of it through some connections, but I can wait until the official release date to hopefully find out what the issue could be. Thanks for the replies setarip

Lately setarip is being the release date police. Don't worry though, even though people can't compare with your particular DVD yet, it's possible that someone has had the "not enough memory" problem on other dvd's? Out of curiosity, how much memory do you have on that computer?

I've got a gig of ram and over 100 GB of free space on my hard drive. So I know that memory on my hard drive or ram can't really be the issue.

RipIt4Me (I use v.1.6.4) made a perfect backup of the R1 version of "War"...

Yeah, i was just attempting to rip "Shoot 'Em Up" using DVDFab and it caused it to fail. As soon as the program was closed and re-opened, it alerted me that there was a newer version available. I updated and was able to complete a rip and successfully load it into DVDShrink, but I haven't yet attempted the backup process yet. I'm sure there won't be any problems though.

Just as you confirmed, I was able to complete a clean rip of "War" using RipIt4Me and completed a successful backup using DVDShrink without any problems.

I haven't attempted a re-rip of "War" using the latest version of DVDFab, but I suspect it shouldn't have any problems.

I noticed the thread about "Shoot 'Em Up," but regretfully it's been closed due to violation of rules I'd venture to guess.

Never-the-less, it worked fine using DVDFab (latest version) and Shrink without any hiccups.
