Subtitles not don't always work [Archive]

I have been recently backing up some of my personal DVD collection and have found problems from time to time with subtitles not accessible or the DVD ripped with a commentary that can't be turned off. I am not sure how to explain except to say that the options in the special effects (commentary, subtitles) don't always work. I use DVD decrypter, DVD Shrink, and Image Burn. I occasionally use RipIt4Me.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Is there something I should be doing?

Check your settings in DVD Shrink, regarding both audio and subtitles/subpictures/subpics...
