My movies has just 1,3GB - not 1,4GB

hi,
my movie has just 1,3GB - not 1,4GB!

I've encode a DVD with G-Knot and I put the settings of the CD size on 690MB.
But now, my movie has just 1,3GB but it should be 690*2 = 1380MB, shouldnt it?

What can I do to reach the full CD size? I have lost over 80MB and this can be a lot of space for audio -or video bitrate, I guess!

your total file size should be 1.34. Why? Because remember that in computer file size, 1024 = 1000 (basically). So to calculate total file size. 690*2 for both files. Then divide by 1024 to get the GB representation.

What Audio option did you choose in Gknot ?
If you choose VBR in Gknot the final size may vary quite a lot, but
if you do Audio separatly you could get pretty close results
(i get +-5MB)
