Hey, I'm in the process of backing up my DVD collection.
With the older DVDs I've had no problem:
I use DVD Decrypter to extract the files from the DVD.
Then I use Nero Recode to place back them up.
I recently bought BIG LOVE SEASON 2 and tried to back it up, this is a fairly new DVD out less than a month.
The issue I'm having is no DVD playback, I get nothing--just a black screen when I pop in the back-up.
One other peculiar behavior is that while DVD Decrypter is ripping the DVD, the green window which shows me the progress normally has a graph going up and going down while the video screen shows me a preview. With this DVD for the first 30 seconds or so there is no preview and the progress graph stays at what would be 30% or so for the entire period.
Of course this leads me to assume that the issue is with the ripping. anyone have a clue or can point me in the right direction where I can educate myself?
